The Annual 'Winter Wonderdram' Whisky Dinner
Monday December 16th
This year's "Winter Wonderdram" Whisky Dinner includes a 4-course dinner and whisky pairing of all single cask (sort of) whiskies. Join us for a bespoke meal prepared by Chef Carlos Ortiz and whiskies from our extensive collection, selected by Jonathan Odde.
Course 1: Brie en Croute paired with Single Cask Nation Wolf Island: Take 2
Course 2: Pastrami Carpaccio paired with Edradour 12 yr Barbaresco Single Cask
Course 3: Duck Confit paired with McCarthy's Rum Cask Single Cask
Course 4: Brownie Sundae paired with Adelphi Glen Elgin 14 yr Single Cask
The Annual Burns Pub Whiskey Awards will be announced, complete with a tasting of our Whisky of the Year!

Join us as we celebrate a British tradition of giving back. On December 26th, we'll be donating 10% of all sales to a local organization called Community Food Share. CFS Website
Community Food Share offers an Onsite Food pantry, Mobile Pantry, and an Older Adult Food Program. We're happy to collaborate with an organization that strives to educate, find sustainable and nutritious solutions to eliminate hunger, and do it with respect and compassion for those that need it.

WHISK(e)Y EVENTS:
The Burns Pub hosts several types of whisky events, which are announced in different ways.
WHISKY TASTINGS:
These are generally more educational tastings that include a preselected appetizer and often have a limited entree menu available as well. They typically consist of 4-6 whiskies that fall under that tasting’s theme. Often, these are blind tastings that attendees judge and vote on, and the judging order revealed at the end of the event. Typically these are hosted by Burns Pub founder and co-owner Jonathan Odde, but may have guest speakers. These are announced through our social media accounts (Facebook and Instagram) and reservations are taken over the phone.
WHISKY & A MEAL:
Whisky tastings, but with a preset (typically 3 course) meal and no limited menu. This also includes our annual collaboration event with Wayne’s Smoke Shack. These are announced through our social media accounts (Facebook and Instagram) and reservations are taken over the phone.
WHISKY DINNERS:
These are typically 4-5 course meals that are paired with a whisky. Often, but not always, the dinners follow a theme. They are almost always hosted by Burns Pub founder and co-owner Jonathan Odde, but occasionally will have a guest speaker.
SMWS TASTINGS:
The Burns Pub is a proud partner location of the Scotch Malt Whisky Society. We host SMWS Tastings nearly every month, which are hosted by former Glenmorangie Ambassador Clarke Boyer. These tastings are always blind and include a meat and cheese buffet. Sign up for these through Eventbrite, which we link to through our social media accounts. SHOWCASE TASTINGS:
Showcase tastings are showcases for a distillery or brand of whisk(e)y. These are brands that are approved by Jonathan. They are hosted by a representative from the distillery or brand. They typically include a meat and cheese buffet. These are available only through our Showcase email list.
